Well the future may well be now and the "larger" that I'm looking into is the Burgman 400 or the Majesty 400. There seems to be a lot of web press readily available on the Burgman but not so much on the Majesty so that's why I signed up here in hopes of getting the opinions of owners to help me make a decision.

Havingboth a 400 Majesty & a 650 Burgman I know that the 650 Burgman has more legroom. I'm just 5'9' with a 30 inch inseam & I know what you mean about the Majesty. I may have an Idea to cure your back pain. When I rode the Majesty ( I gave it to my bride to ride) I took out the butt rest for the added legroom.

Subject Re: Silverwing 600 vs Burgman 400 Wed May 06, 2015 6:01 pm. I am not going to sell the Helix unless I need a $1000 cash. I am extremely hesitant between the 400 and SW. The Burgman 400 is practically new with only 7xx miles. The Silverwing has a bigger engine and can easily handle my 230 lbs a** and the 150 lbs of my wife.

TheMajesty is slightly superior to the Burgman 400 in many respects, but overall they are similar. I have the Majesty and have ridden with all types of scoots. They are all nice in one way or the other, but in the 400 class it is very hard to choose between the Yamaha and Suzuki. I am very happy with the Majesty and definitely recommend it.

Burgman650-----I would not be afraid of new/off the showroom floor650 and it would work well for me for the 50,000miles I usually ride a new bike. Most rider complaints come from riders who bought used/old-----have trouble and expect Suzuki to pay for fix. Based on weight Burgman 400 works better for my scooter riding style

Im glad I bought the Burgman, because the Majesty just didn't fit me as well. If a Burgman hadn't been available, the Majesty would've done just fine though. If you read any magazine comparisons, you'll have a hard time finding one that compares the current Burgman 400 with the Majesty. Most are comparing the older 06 (or older) Burgman 400.

Chuck I have to admit I was really tempted to buy a GPS instead of being sensible and buying parts for the Burgman. At one point I found an International version of the Lowrance iWay 500c (discontinued model) for $400.
